A Message from Paul Ryan Dukes Experience Reunion:

Saturday 25th November 2017 at Chelmsford City Racecourse

I haven’t been this excited since I bumped into Rod Stewart in Stringfellows in 1985 with Kelly Emburg – I came over all unnecessary then, and have got the same tingles now – oooer!

Our Dukes Experience Reunion night will be one of the highlights of your 2017 social calendar – and we are working flat out to bring you a snatch of nostalgia from those great Chelmsford Clubbing Days direct from the early 90’s.Our three intrepid DJ’s who brought you those atmospheric nights from 25 years ago – Pete Ferrant – Paul Lovett and Paul Marks are putting together a set of music that will bring back so many memories we have the St Johns Ambulance Service on hand to give oxygen to those that are too overcome with emotion!! If they cant make it, James has offered to step in with his version of CPR!!!

All of our VIP packages are now completely sold out, and advance tickets are going faster than Lewis Hamilton’s wheelnuts! If you have friends that are still deciding whether to go or not, or even your Mum and Dad, Aunty, Gran, next doors cat etc. tell them to get online now and secure their tickets for this brilliant night as places are limited at this fabulous venue, and once all of the tickets have sold – that will be it!!!

Pete, Paul and Paul have been posting on the Facebook Page some old flyers from back in the day of PA’s and acts we had at Dukes from that time, and it seemed that every other week we were putting on something where everything was coming off!! The Dreamboys – Electric Blue Roadshow – Sunday Sport Girls and a whole lineup of semi naked flesh – I wonder what the PC brigade of today would make of that lot!! We also had some great and iconic names appear at the club, with the likes of Edwin Starr – Rose Royce – Gwen Guthrie – Colonel Abrahams – Sharon Redd – LaToya Jackson – Nomad – Shalamar etc etc. What great days they were, and what great support we always got from our loyal Chelmsford Clubbers, and those that would travel miles for a brilliant night out – we may not have been trendy and musically fashionable – but every night was a full blown party!!

Now we are planning a few surprises on the 25th November and don’t want to give too much away, so keep up on the night and try and pay attention!! Which will be totally impossible as we have looked at the list of who has bought tickets and packages so far and there are so many of the legendary Dukes Party Posse going, I doubt if anyone will have time to breathe – you will all be talking and reminiscing too much! (back to James with his CPR again). If you know anyone who worked at The Club through the 90’s – or even before – make sure they know about this, they get a ticket and join in the fun.
